  • Other circumstances outside Neoterra’s reasonable control.

Estimated delivery dates are indicative unless expressly stated otherwise.

You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring reasonable access to the delivery location.

10. AC INSTALLATION

Where installation is offered or required, installation may be carried out by Neoterra or an authorised installation/service partner.

Installation charges, if applicable, will be communicated separately or displayed during the purchase process.

Standard installation may cover only the activities specifically defined by Neoterra.

Additional requirements may result in additional charges, including where applicable:

  • Wall or civil work;
  • Brackets or specialised mounting;
  • Core cutting;
  • Height-related work;

  • Additional labour;
  • Additional transportation; or
  • Other non-standard requirements.

Actual installation requirements may vary depending on the site.

Neoterra or its authorised installation partner may refuse or postpone installation where the site is unsafe, inaccessible or technically unsuitable.

11. SOLAR & BATTERY PURCHASE, INSTALLATION AND INTEGRATION

Where Neoterra provides, recommends or facilitates solar power systems, batteries, energy-storage equipment or related components as part of an AC, energy or power-management solution, the purchase and fitting of such equipment may be carried out through a Neoterra-referred or authorised third-party vendor.

11.1 Purchase Through Referred Vendors

Customers may purchase solar panels, batteries and related equipment directly from a vendor referred or recommended by Neoterra.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in the applicable quotation, invoice or agreement:

Neoterra is not the seller, manufacturer or supplier of solar panels, batteries or other third-party equipment supplied by the referred vendor.

The purchase price, taxes, delivery, fitting/installation, equipment warranty, replacement, refund and other commercial terms relating to such equipment may be governed by the agreement between the customer and the relevant vendor.

Customers are advised to review the vendor’s quotation, invoice, warranty terms and other applicable conditions before making a purchase.

11.2 Vendor Responsibility

The relevant solar or battery vendor may be responsible for:

  • Supply of equipment;
  • Equipment specifications;
  • Pricing;
  • Delivery;
  • Physical fitting or installation;
  • Product warranty;
  • Replacement or repair;
  • Equipment-related service; and
  • Other obligations specifically agreed between the customer and the vendor.

11.3 Customer’s Right to Purchase Directly

Customers may also purchase solar panels, batteries and compatible related equipment directly from a vendor of their choice, subject to the technical and safety requirements applicable to integration with the Neoterra system.

Neoterra does not require customers to purchase third-party solar or battery equipment from a particular vendor unless expressly stated as part of a specific commercial package or agreement.

11.4 Neoterra Technician Integration

Where technically feasible and subject to compatibility and safety requirements, Neoterra technicians may assist with the connection, integration, configuration or commissioning of the Neoterra AC/system with the customer’s solar and battery setup.

Such assistance may include:

  • Electrical connection;
  • AC-side integration;
  • System configuration;
  • Compatibility checks;
  • Testing;
  • Commissioning; and
  • Basic operational guidance.

Neoterra’s involvement in connecting or integrating the system does not make Neoterra responsible for the underlying solar panels, batteries or third-party equipment.

11.5 Technical Compatibility

Before integration, Neoterra may assess whether third-party equipment meets the required technical, electrical and safety specifications.

Neoterra may decline connection or integration where:

  • The equipment is technically incompatible;
  • Required specifications are not met;
  • The equipment is defective;
  • The equipment has been improperly installed;
  • The electrical infrastructure is unsuitable;
  • Required safety standards are not satisfied;
  • The system has been modified without appropriate authorisation;
  • Integration could damage the Neoterra product;
  • Integration could create a safety risk; or
  • Required technical information is unavailable.

11.6 Warranty and Liability for Third-Party Equipment

The warranty for solar panels, batteries and other third-party equipment shall generally remain the responsibility of the respective manufacturer or vendor, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing by Neoterra.

Neoterra’s assistance with connection, integration or commissioning does not transfer responsibility for third-party equipment to Neoterra.

Where a fault originates from third-party solar, battery, electrical or associated equipment, the customer may be required to coordinate with the relevant vendor or manufacturer.

Damage to a Neoterra product caused by incompatible, defective, incorrectly installed or improperly configured third-party equipment may not be covered under Neoterra’s product warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms.

11.7 Separate Commercial Relationship

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the purchase of solar panels, batteries or related equipment from a referred vendor constitutes a separate transaction between the customer and that vendor.

Neoterra may facilitate communication, provide recommendations or assist with technical integration but shall not be responsible for the third-party vendor’s commercial obligations beyond those expressly accepted by Neoterra in writing.

12. PRODUCT REGISTRATION

Where product registration is available, customers may be required to provide information such as:

  • Customer name;
  • Contact information;
  • Product model;
  • Serial number;
  • Purchase date;
  • Invoice details; and
  • Installation information.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information.

Product registration does not by itself modify or extend the applicable warranty unless expressly stated in the relevant warranty terms.

13. WARRANTY

Neoterra products may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty subject to the specific warranty terms applicable to the product.

Warranty coverage may vary by:

  • Product;
  • Model;
  • Component;
  • Purchase channel;
  • Warranty period;
  • Installation conditions; and
  • Other applicable warranty requirements.

The applicable product warranty document, warranty card or official warranty terms shall govern warranty claims.

Warranty coverage may be excluded or limited where damage or failure results from circumstances such as:

  • Improper installation;
  • Improper use;
  • Negligence;
  • Accidental damage;
  • Physical damage;
  • Electrical fluctuations or unsuitable power supply;
  • Use contrary to the product manual;
  • Unauthorised repair or modification;

  • Normal wear and tear; or
  • Other exclusions specified in the applicable warranty terms.

For complete warranty terms, customers should refer to the warranty documentation applicable to their specific product.

14. AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Neoterra may provide installation, repair, maintenance, troubleshooting and other after-sales services directly or through authorised service partners.

Service availability may vary depending on:

  • Customer location;
  • Product;
  • Warranty status;
  • Service network coverage;
  • Availability of technicians;
  • Availability of replacement parts; and
  • Other operational circumstances.

Service timelines provided by Neoterra are generally estimates unless a specific service commitment is expressly communicated.

Customers may be required to provide proof of purchase, product details or warranty information before certain services are provided.

15. SERVICE CHARGES

Where a service is chargeable, applicable charges will be communicated before or during the service process where reasonably practicable.

Charges may include, where applicable:

  • Inspection charges;
  • Labour charges;
  • Replacement parts;
  • Transportation;
  • Installation-related charges;
  • Additional material;
  • Non-standard installation work; or
  • Other applicable service charges.

Warranty-covered services will be handled according to the applicable warranty terms.

16. CANCELLATION, RETURN AND REFUND

Any cancellation, return, replacement or refund of products purchased through Neoterra’s website will be governed by the applicable Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy, if separately published.

Where a separate policy applies, that policy shall form part of these Terms.

Customers should review the applicable policy before placing an order.

For purchases made through third-party marketplaces, the cancellation, return and refund policies of the relevant marketplace may apply.

17. THIRD-PARTY MARKETPLACES
